The Battenkill Lodge houses 3 private suites with full amenities that can accommodate between 1 – 6 guests each.
The Lodge provides excellent trout fishing, with miles of private water, separate beats and paths. Our guests enjoy an experience of unhurried tranquility in a peaceful wildlife setting. Inflatable tubes are provided for guests who wish to tube the river and take in the beauty of the water and surrounding mountains.
For afternoon pleasure our Naco Pond will provide ample opportunity to fish for three and four pound Browns. Battenkill Lodge practices Catch and Release fishing so these fish become larger and wiser with each passing season.
Two additional nearby private properties are available for additional fishing experiences. The Hoosic is isolated and private and therefore has minimal angling pressure. Brown trout to 24 inches and Rainbows to 20 inches are taken regularly, which has earned the property the nickname “Jurassic Park.”
The Royal Coachman Suite
The Royal Coachman Suite offers a spacious living area and oversized windows with breathtaking views of the verdant meadow leading to the Battenkill. The solarium and sundeck provide a panorama of beautiful Anaquassacook Mountain and the surrounding Taconic Range.
The second-floor suite is the ultimate in luxury. A full contemporary bath completes the comfortable bedroom which contains a queen and a twin bed. Additionally there is a pull out sofa in the sun room which can accommodate two additional guests.
The Royal Coachman has a full eat-in Kitchen, to include an oven, stove top, and microwave.
Note: This Suite is housed on the second floor and is NOT handicap accessible
The Trico Suite
The cozy Trico Suite offers a bird’s-eye view of Anaquassacook Mountain. In this lovely setting, guests may enter from the private patio overlooking Battenkill Meadow. The suite is bathed with natural sunlight, streaming into the room from the south. The fully modern facilities include cooking conveniences and a microwave.
All suites contain overhead fans for comfort, and bedrooms are air-conditioned. For supper, guests may take advantage of the suite’s private covered porch with picnic table. This suite has a separate bedroom, with 2 twin beds and private bath.
Blue Winged Olive
This suite is recommended for short stays for single guests or perhaps the “day tripper” who would like someplace to rest, repose and enjoy the landscape. This “mini” suite consists of a bathroom, sitting area and pull out bed.

FISHING SERVICES
GUIDE – FULL DAY – 6 HOURS $550. (2 PEOPLE).
EXTENDED DAY – 8 HOURS -$750.
TERMS: 50% DEPOSIT WITH RESERVATION – CHECK IN 12:00P.M. – CHECKOUT 12:00P.M.
